I know a lot of people had a big problem with being locked in due to Covid. For me, it wasn’t all that bad. For one, I was used to staying at home a lot with Sebastian due to a compromised immune system, and the other reason was World of Warcraft, which saw a huge increase in players during the big shut down.
I had started back up previously with my husband and son when blizzard decided to bring back wow classic to relax some evenings. Having never raided on retail back in the day, I was scared to do so, but my son got me into it, and I enjoyed it. Right before Covid hit, he convinced me to join a raiding guild, which really made me step out of my comfort zone.

In our “Good” guild, I found many nice people I enjoyed spending my days with as we were all in the same boat with too much time on our hands. The days just blended while farming and getting world buffs to slay monsters and master the art of healing on my main, a holy priest. When not much else was left to do during downtimes, I also decided to level a few other DPS.

I had always enjoyed doing some PVP (Player versus Player) but never really thought about ranking up high till I was working on getting a reputation for Alterac Valley to get a bis ( Best in a slot ) ring, and my son mentioned how cool it would be to go for the highest rank. After 3 months of 12 hours a day or pvping, I finally achieved what not many players have the stamina to do.
So while others may have spent their days in misery and complaining, I was oblivious to it all, relaxing with my Son on World of Warcraft. The only drawback was getting back to a regular schedule and getting my house back in shape. But in hindsight, I would do it again.
